Nai-te VMD

We crafted a showcase design, tailored for consumers in their golden years.
Drawing inspiration from tree rings, the design exudes a warm and welcoming vibe.

​

These growth rings, formed over time, symbolize life experiences and the appreciation of value as it deepens over the years. They come together to create a greater meaning, connecting past and present, and resonating the intrinsic value of life

Reflecting this philosophy to our design identity,our goal was to help users naturally appreciate the essence of life while providing a sense of comfort and reassurance for senior consumers.

The circular base and serrated details reflect the organic essence of tree rings, reimagined through fine serration that evokes the texture of wood grain.
The naturally rounded form radiates a soft, approachable aesthetic, enhancing a feeling of closeness and familiarity.

Additionally, we included intuitive components, such as a threshold element, to simplify the assembly process, ensuring that even first-time users can put it together effortlessly.

시니어 소비자를 타겟으로 한 나이테 VMD는 나무의 나이테에서 영감을 받아 친숙하고 따뜻한 이미지를 전달하는 디자인으로 제작되었습니다. 
 

나무의 나이테는 시간이 지남에 따라 형성된 결들이 점차 더 큰 가치를 지닌다는 의미를 담고 있으며, 이는 사람들의 삶의 경험과 시간이 쌓이며 얻는 가치와도 연결됩니다. 이러한 의미를 제품 디자인에 반영하여, 사용자가 자연스럽게 삶의 가치를 느낄 수 있도록 돕고자 했습니다. 
VMD는 이러한 철학을 바탕으로 시니어 소비자들에게 편안함과 안정감을 제공하는 디자인을 지향합니다.

 

VMD의 디자인은 라운드 형태와 세레이션 디테일을 통해 나이테가 가지는 자연적인 요소를 제품에 녹여냈습니다. 
라운드 형태는 부드러운 느낌을 주어 친근함을 강조하고, 세레이션 디테일은 나무 결을 연상시키며 모티브인 나이테를 재해석하였습니다.
실용성을 고려하여, 제품은 조립형으로 설계되어 차량으로 쉽게 이동할 수 있고, 공간에 맞게 유연하게 배치할 수 있습니다. 
또한, 가이드 요소를 추가하여 사용자가 처음 접하더라도 손쉽게 조립할 수 있도록 설계하였습니다.
